Day 1: Got down @allepay, kerala @ 6am. Met Koshy (well dressed man) along with the hotel owner(typical mallu).We went to the hotel in 2 autos, whereas I had to sit b/w 2 mallus on the bike like the scene in swades movie, The mallu riding the bike would slow down the accelerator every 100mts to tie up his lungi/panche, and was waiting for the hotel to get down. We kept our luggage in the hotel and walked towards the beach. By then Rakesh and Ashwin had left kocchi to join us here. We then took a local bus and was amazed to see the exciting view of the beach. Spent some time playing along the waves. Took pics( nice expressions by the gals ). The final pic which was set on auto timer mode, came out to be a amazing pic. Then took some more pics along the railway level crossing, waiting for the exact time of train arrival in the background.
By now Rakesh and depressed ashwin(after barca lost to arsenal 2-1) had joined us. Then slowely walked towrds the House boat expecting it to be on the average side, but was taken to a surprise when we saw the double decked house boat with 2 A/C rooms. We floated through the backwaters for about 50+km. Had nice lunch, me, JP, abhi and beeresh drove the boat in the zig zag direction.After a long journey came back to the base around 6pm, packed our bags and boarded our bus to kottayam.
Reached there at 8pm and was waiting for Kumily bus. Since we were able to identify only jilebies, we kept onasking all the buses for Kumily. Then after much waiting we got a bus to kumiley @9pm. The ride was horrible for some us as the route was through ghats. Then reached kumily around 12:30am and and found balu’s friend solomon and stayed @his hotel. The fun @the balcony came to an end when we were asked to maintain silence by the adjacent foriegner and everyone went to sleep
Then started trek in 3 groups. Group1 nandu,manisha,krithika,manohar and JP
Group 2 ash, deepika, arun, kiran and Rakesh and Group 3 abhi, beeru, balu and me.
Saw some sambar, mouse deer, black langur, horn bill, wild pigs etc. Then came back to kumiley had nice lunch and left to some view point+tea estates in 2 autos.Took some great pics on the hill top. Then went to Deepa estates and had to pay 100/- to listen to some old man talking about plants and its medicinal purposes in ayurveda and kulla bought hair fall control oil. Had to bear with his dabba jokes “I dnt hav any hair problem coz I dnt have any hairs left.”Only nandini was impressed with him, as he compared her to einstien and kulla to head cook. Then ate at Kumiley gate hotel then went to sleep.
Something something happened that night beeresh’s dance, ashwin’s heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee laugh etc etc (censored).
Day3: Woke up early and packed our bags to board 9:30 bus to munnar. Kiran had a bad time puking everything he ate last night and fell ill. After 2 hrs of travel the driver had stopped for breakfast at some unknown place. Pinky saw a tea plantation and headed for it. But unfortunately a big gutter laid buried amidst the beauty of the plantation and he stepped into it. Then we continued the journey and came across awesome landscapes and plantations. We reached munnar around 2:30pm. We had to stand for half an hour at the origin of munnar river (censored). Then went to hotel, refreshed and went to some park
Took photos and went to a tea/cardamom plantation and clicked awesome pics. Then went back to hotel, saw india
And Sehwag’s comment “Everyone played well, except sreeshant, who got hammered for 53 from 5overs”. Then had dinner, went for a night walk around 1am and came back and slept.
Day4: Started our journey in 2 jeeps to munnar top station. Bought appam and ate along the bank of the river and reached the top spot. Went to the view spot, from where we could see magnificent view of the hills and soon covered by mist. While others decide to rest there, Me Mala and Manisha went down to another spot and clicked some beautiful pics. Later joined with the main group and on the way back saw the amazing scene of JP getting kicked by a donkey. After a refreshing drink of coconut milk and so called tomato we descended down and came back to the DAM where the boating camp was. To our disappointment all the boats were full and due to shortage of time we decided not to wait.
Meanwhile Balu, Kri, nandu, beeru and rakesh went for horse riding. Then went to the lower Dam took pics of the opened Dam gates and came back to the hotel, packed our bags and went to the travels to board our bus.
To our surprise the travel agent shocked us by saying we need to travel in a tavera+indica to Theni(T.N). After heated argument by Mala and Abhi we decided to travel by car. To our amazement we came across beautiful scenery and stopped our vehicles and clicked photos. Reached Theni ate at Pandian restaurant, ash deceived me by asking me to stare at deepika for 30 sec and took so called controversial photo and we left to bang in SRS travels bus.
Some memorable moments:

Yellow Fish: Beeresh and me took photos of the fish caught by the local fisherman and hyped that beeresh found it in his pants while swimming. Well this turned out to be a funny moment when manohar described the way beeresh caught the fish, by comparing it to the fevi quick advertisement.
Big bag/Small bag: Well the big bag award goes to manisha, with all the cosmetics, 10 sets of dress out of which only four will be worn and some space to steal others clothes(just kidding). And the award for the small bag goes to Beeresh with a small green bag. Guess he used Winzip archive to compress his clothes.
Vanitha (20): On the S8 train compartment passengers list Manohar and Jayaprakash came across a woman aged about 20 on the side lower deck. Seeing that they started fighting for the side upper deck. Sadly she didn’t board in Bangalore
Lost/found: Manohar lost his costly innerwear, (which he had bought at national market for Rs35/-) @allepay hotel. He used rakesh’s GPS navigation to find it, but in vain.
Pinky boiled: On the way to view point from kumily me and pinky sat behind the auto. To his bad luck the engine was right below him and slowley the heat rised and boiled pinky’s …..(censored).
Balu’s agarbhatti: Balu had bought 2 packets of scented agarbhattis or saman kaddi(as said by abhi) and the story went up to forest fire and fire engine.(story in b/w censored).
Penga Reddy: Abhi challenged the mining reddy bros, with his new granite quarry , which uses a powerful driller ever known to man..(censored).
Who is the Genius?: Well nandu and deepika were put to some rigorous tests, while deepika could only clear level 1 nandu cleared level 3.
Some questions were : one quarter has 50% alcohol and how much does 2 quarter and other question on “batte onagisuvudu” as mentioned by JP.
Rakesh’s Bet: It was 19th feb and the first world cup match of 2011 was being played by India and Bangladesh and sehwag was going to score big and this dumb mallu mama (rakesh) bet abhi that sehwag wont score 100, as to his bad luck sehwag goes to score 175, thus loosing the bet of Rs100/-
Munaf : After munaf picking 4 wickets he was being interviwed and his smile resembled ashwins’s eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
71 animals/trek: After gruesome trek we came back to the base and was discussing about the animals we saw. Balu comes from nowhere and tells us that he saw 71 animals, everyone shocked in disbelief, then explains balu like this “ I saw 5x1 sambar + 1x7 sambar + 21 pigs etc…

Nitrous : Ashwin’s air injected Propulsion system used to give temporary boost to the jeep on the last day in munnar..(censored)
Deepa estates :We paid Rs100/- per head to enter deepa estates came to know about the medicinal herbs and its significance from one of the old dude who compared nandu’s brain with that of einstien’s.

Financial blunder: Mala was appointed as a new member to the financial dpt and was dismissed soon when he counted 9700 instead of 10200.
Horse kick: There was we on Mt Abu…, sorry on the top station of munnar returning back from the amazing scenery, suddenly JP found a stray horse and surprised it by trying to jump over it from behind, the horse with the aim of Lionel Messi kicked JP (just below his privates), and Ashwin missed it by a whisker. And I missed my photo shot..
